The work «Request» is a metaphor reflecting on the theme of the methods and achievements of astronomy in its quest to obtain an image of the Black Hole.

At the moment, an image of the black hole of the galaxy M87 has already been obtained, but while the heart of the Milky Way, Sagittarius A *, the black hole that forms our universe, still remains unexplored. To obtain an image of the Black Hole, a new method is used - the Event Horizon radio telescope network, which, by accumulating data from several telescopes, is able to collect the most complete picture of the object under study. Thus, the Earth acts as a unified system that artificially creates a new network of neurons for cognition of the surrounding world and space.

The universe is a closed space. Emphasizing this, the «Request» project visually turns the Earth inside out, thereby uniting the vectors of knowledge of the universe into a single direction.

The change in the shape of the Earth from a conventional sphere to a conventional cube applies the metaphoricity of the phrase
«bursting at the seams» and speaks of irreversible changes on our planet, from which its inhabitants are doomed to seek salvation in space. The «Request» project is interactive. In the presented work, each person individually acts as Humanity, the viewer launches his signal «into space».
